Collectively we work on safety
In times of inaction, we predominantly work behind the scenes. We ensure that we are ready, and prepared for action. Some ways in which we prepare ourselves is through the organization of exercises, the teaching and training of crisis officials, the orchestration of action plans and through recommending fire/safety measures.
Our role during a crisis
Our role changes during an incident or a crisis; we then move to the frontline and scale up. We take control and arrange the collaboration between a multitude of partners. With other crises organizations we work hard to return to a safe situation. As our safety is for everybody.
Is there an incident requesting support from more emergency responders? Then we scale up to GRIP.
Safety recommendations
We also provide counselling on safety. For example, we guide municipalities on how to safely organize events. Additionally, we advise companies on their risks through the creation of a ‘hazard management plan’. Companies are further aided by us on ways to supervise these risks.
